Our Government over many administrations has told the American people that all American POWs from the Vietnam War have been returned. Most Americans, including myself, believed this to be true. I believed this after Operation Homecoming. I believed it in 1978 when nearly all MIAs were declared dead. And, I believed it as late as 1993. Why did I believe it? It was inconceivable to me that my Government would lie and deliberately withhold information, especially when it involves Prisoners of War. Even President Clinton declared that 'The Fullest Possible Accounting of POW/MIAs' was a National Priority.

Our National Priority is a scam! President Clinton and other politicians want the public to forget about the POW/MIA issue so they can 'normalize relations' for the sake of 'Big Business'. To this end, our Government has lied and withheld information that many POWs may still be held in Vietnam. Much of the communications and satellite intelligence collected after Operation Homecoming still remains classified. Barry Toll estimates that only 15% of satellite imagery has even been examined. All of it is still classified. In many cases, 'The Fullest Possible Accounting' amounts to digging-up 30 year-old crash sites, collecting bones and teeth of unknown origins, finding or manufacturing a piece of evidence which might be linked to a crew member or crash site, and burying the remains without positive identification.

Public opinion is the only thing governments and politicians understand!

If you want to help, contact(Call, write, or e-mail) your elected officials in Washington and tell them how you feel. The present methods of accounting for our POW/MIAs are not acceptable. All Satellite and Communications Intelligence should be declassified as required by law. Normalization with Vietnam should not proceed until we can examine all their records and visit relevant military installations. The Vietnamese keep meticulous records and should know what happened to every American who has been captured and many MIA's.

What is being done to examine the remaining satellite imagery which was never shown to the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs in 1991 and 1992 and which contains many other valid E&E codes?

What is being done to obtain a KGB document which according to former Russian General Volkogonov details a plan to move American POWs to Russia during the Vietnam war?

There is strong evidence that American pilots may still be alive and held in captivity. Their family and friends deserve to know their fate.

Please advise me of any action that is being taken by you or any other elected or appointed official to resolve these issues.
